Hilly District Khagrachori Tour Plan

Khagrachari is a hilly district under the Chittagong hill track. It located at 419 km south-east from Dhaka and 114 km from Chittagong. There are some direct bus services going Khagrachari. BRTC, Dholphiin Paribahan, S. Alam etc. bus services run on this way. There are many hotels in here such as Parjatan motel, Hotel three star etc. anywhere you can stay.

Alutila Cave: Light the flare, take a deep breath and step inside the cave of Alutila. This cave, approximately 100 m long, 1.8 m high and 0.9 m wide, is pitch dark inside and affords only slippery stones to walk on. But if you are one with a sense of adventure, this is one place you just have to check out. These will be no bats-flying at you experience, but if you put the torch out, the experience will give you enough memories to spin fantastic tales to your grandchildren.

Richang: It is located at 8 km away from Khagrachari town and beside on Dhaka-Khagraracahi road. There is a reserve forest, a tourist spot, a mysterious cave and a waterfall. This falls is called also Richang Falls, situated about 3 km west of Alutila. Form town by bus or Chander gari you can get there.

Debotar Pukur (Pond Of God): It located at 11 km south of the district town on Khagrachari-Mahalchari-Rangamati road; and 4 km west of the main road at Nunchari Mouja. It is situated on 100 feet above from sea level; around 1500 feet long and 600 feet wide. It is a pilgrimage site for local Tripura peoples. They believe that this pond is created by God and this water is God bless. The pond water is never totally reduced. There is also a story that, this lake is controlled by the Gods; there is a hidden treasure in the pond. There is an idea that, if anyone want something in here it is filled.

Toidoichhara Waterfalls: It is located on the Diginala Upazila way on Chittagong to Khagrachari. You can go Dighinala by local jeep by bus. There are some hotels in here, if want you can stay at night in here. From Diginala to Toidoichhara you have to go by walk. You may take a local Aboriginal guide. In addition, you can see here a Siba temple, wild elephant herd and other wild animals.

Haja Chara Waterfalls: This majestic falls is located on Baghai Hat, you can go there by Chander Gari (local jeep) from Khagrachari town or Diginala Upazila. From 10 no. police camp you have to walk around 30 minutes to reach there. If want you can stay at Dighinala.
